2012. I am workin on the Grand Sire Calendar project. Publisher Equus Marketing Berlin http://vererberlegenden.de painting Donnerhall for the front cover of the calendar.



January The painting of Leo Sail Cody, get a Holy Cow Award a Golden Frame Award by the World Artist Contest.

February Working on Argentinus and another second painting from Donnerhall for the Grand Sire Calendar. Painting on several paintings the same time for the Calendar. Finished the painting of Argentinus.



February another Holy Cow Award for The old Stallion.

March painting on several paintings the same time for the Calendar. Finished the painting of Argentinus.





Art of March international Contest. Top 15 for Flirt d’ Amour.

April The second painting of Donnerhall is done. Working nearly 16 hours a day even on the weekend. To get ready in time with the calendar.









April The British Dressage Magazine. There is a story about the famous stallion Weltmeyer and may painting is even published along his story, with an advise of the award the painting won in the UK.

April Selection Award for Red Racer, third place for Juister Pferde.


April /May Starting painting Ehrentusch, Contender, Furioso and Florestan.

















May The Old Stallion, Leo Sail Cody and Grubenpferd are chosen by jury for the Malpalais International Art Show in Ohio.



May Starting paintings of Caprimond and Grande. Florestan is finished now. Some years ago I visit him and took even a lot of photos at the stud. Doing Grande coloured, but the photos I use for painting him, are black and white - difficult to do. Painting nearly 16 ours a day…need holyday…..







May Art of May Contest Top 6 for Kostolany, Top 18 for Enny.



Juni Only a very short trip to Balve to see the Dressage riders. No time for exhibit there the Grand Sire paintings for the calendar have to be finished at first. But I want to see the Dressage riders . A few ours I stay away from the the easel to see Helen Langehanenberg become the German Dressage Master. I can finish the painting of Grande, starting with the painting of Sandro Hit and even finished Caprimond. Ehrentusch is still to do. I have a few old photos, once I visit Ehrentusch at the stud.





















Juni The paintings for the Grand Shire calendar are done. Two older paintings from my stock are even inside, Polydor and Weltmeyer. Juni Art of June Contest First place for Satchmo even Art of the Week for Satchmo. Top 17 for Florestan, Top 19 for Grande from 500 paintings worldwide.



July Equus Marketing, first presentation of the Grand Sire Calendar. Exhibition on the Fohlen Championat in Lienen. The only time that all original paintings are exhibited. Bevore the first ones leave to there new owners.









July World Artist Contest. They honoured my work with the “Tribute Collage”

August Exhibition in Verden at the World Mastership of the young horses. First time that I can show and sell the Grand Sire Calendar.





August Art of August top 6 for my German Shepherd painting.

August - September Exhibition at the Bundes Championate in Warendorf.









September Chosen by jury for the International Art Show at the Garde Republican in Paris. The paintings Champions Dance and Grubenpferd.



September Artsits workshop with sculptor Brigitte Eberl. For a weekend we can work together. We are our personal anatomy trainers. She give me corrections for my paintings, I give her corrections for her sculptures. See the first Totilas resins Brigitte have done for Breyer USA. Funny they have a photo on the package I took in Balve from Totilas.


September Selections Contest, Top 9 "Fenja" ca 400 Teilnehmer.
